Case dismissed
I went to traffic court today to contest a speeding ticket, after I was found guilty from trial by written declaration. Seeing as how it is July 5th, the day after Independence Day, I hoped that perhaps the officer would not appear in court because he was on vacation. Today is my lucky day, because just that happened. Well, I don't know if he was on vacation, but he definitely was not in court, which meant that my case was dropped and I get my bail refunded to me. YAY!
