If this isn't proof enough that the one in power is the village idiot, the country was disgraced once again last night. A news report came on the television about Dubya's recent colonoscopy. As if the thought of doctors probing the chimp's anus wasn't disturbing (and yet humorous) enough, when asked to address people about the procedure, he called it just that. The procedure. And I quote, "I think a col-...colo-...this procedure is very important for people over 50 to get." Sigh...I suddenly felt like a second grade teacher wanting to encourage him to "sound it out." Come on, kids, say it with me: koh-loh-nos-kuh-pee. Very good!
